Huawei Picked For 390 MWp Solar Project in Poland
Huawei was recently selected by R.Power Group, one of the
largest players in the Polish PV market, to supply 390 MWp of its world-leading
smart string inverters for numerous solar projects in Poland.
The contract provides for three types of Huawei inverters –
SUN2000 215KTL-H0, SUN2000 185KTL-H1 and SUN2000 105KTL-H1 – to be used to
maximize the performance of a 390 MW portfolio of solar projects. The
field-proven performance, such as .B high efficiency, low failure rate and high
energy yields, give Huawei’s Smart PV solution an advantage over other standard
solutions.
R.Power Group was awarded the contract to sell electricity
generated from the 390 MWp project portfolio of the Renewable Energy Sources
(RES) auction held in recent months.
“We are honored to be a major player in Poland’s
fast-growing PV usage industry. Our success is largely due to the high quality
of the equipment and services we supply. In the implementation of our projects,
we usually cooperate with industry leaders – both with foreign ones such as
Huawei, which will supply us with inverters, and with Polish ones such as Nomad
Electric, a company that will be responsible for the construction, operation
and maintenance of the plants,” says Przemek Pieta, CEO of R.Power Group.
“We have been working with R.Power for many years to realize
solar projects on a large scale in the demanding Polish market. These solar
parks, built by R.Power, will provide hundreds of gigawatt hours of electricity
annually, accelerating Poland’s transition to a low-carbon economy. Huawei is
known for its state-of-the-art smart PV solutions, and we are pleased that they
are appreciated by more and more customers in Poland and around the world,”
commented Maciej Bąkała, Business Development Manager at Huawei Digital Power.
Huawei has been developing and continuously improving the
SUN2000 series solar inverters since 2013. The company was the first in the
world to offer support for bifacial modules and solar tracking systems, using
machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for remote
diagnostics and fire risk reduction. Today, Huawei is a leader in the
implementation of AI technologies in photovoltaics, including AFCI and Smart
I-V Curve Diagnosis, helping customers achieve more benefits in the long term.
In addition, Huawei’s solutions enable intelligent management of a PV power
plant through precise data collection and analysis.
