Beijing to Huawei with Ericsson and Nokia as the western curb
The United States and many of its allies have restricted the use of 5G cellular equipment manufactured by Huawei Technologies Co. of China. Currently, Beijing is doing the same for its western rivals on Huawei.
China Mobile Ltd., the world’s largest government-owned
wireless operator by number of subscribers, won 5.4% of its latest 5G equipment
bids to non-Chinese suppliers in July, 11 of the last round of 2020. Decreased

The biggest loser was Sweden’s Ericsson AB. This dropped to
just 1.9% in this round after winning all 11% last year. China’s state media
lose market share, Huawei and China’s ZTE Corp. Explained in retaliation for

comment.
