Missing Arkansas woman found wrapped in sheet under ex’s mattress

A missing Arkansas woman has been found dead wrapped in a sheet under her ex-boyfriend’s mattress, authorities said.

Robin Elizabeth Allmon, 42, had been missing for several days when her body was discovered at Maurice Winda’s home Monday in Hughes, news station WREG reported.

She appeared to have been dead for some time, but an autopsy was ordered to determine more about the circumstances surrounding her death, police said.

Her daughter, Nancy Allman, said Winda was the last known person to see her.

She said that had been abusive towards on her mom at least one occasion.

“He blacked her eye. Her eye was black, like over, she ended up going to the hospital. She had a fractured eye socket,” Allman told the outlet.

She said she believes that her mother was forced to go to his home against her will.

“In my eyes, in my heart, nothing will make me believe my mom was willingly going in that house on her own. I believe he got my mom. He forced my mom,” Allman said.

Police said they are now searching for Winda, who didn’t show up for his job Tuesday at the sanitation department and is considered a person of interest, news station WMC reported.
