Oded Zicherman Joins Arti as Vice President of Research & Development

Technology veteran Oded Zicherman has joined Arti as Vice President of R&D. Arti provides the first cloud-based augmented reality (AR) platform for broadcasters and video content producers.

"Arti has pioneered cloud-based AR for the broadcast media industry at a time when remote production and creative storytelling that engages viewers are more important than ever. I'm excited to join the Arti team and continually deliver innovative AR technology to Arti's rapidly-growing customer base," said Zicherman.

Zicherman has worked in software development at global technology companies for the last 15+ years, most recently as VP R&D at Namogoo, where he oversaw multidisciplinary R&D teams and led significant growth of the R&D organization. Previously, he managed global development teams at Clarizen and Nice Systems. Zicherman started his career developing video management systems at Verint. He holds a B.Sc in engineering from Ben-Gurion University, an MBA from Bar-Ilan University, and served as a Captain in the elite 8200 Israeli Intelligence Corps.

"We're excited to welcome Oded to lead Arti's engineering team," said Arti Co-founder and CEO, Yaron Zakai-Or. "Oded brings a wealth of experience with cloud technology and a passion for building winning teams, so he's well positioned to help Arti consistently deliver amazing new AR technology to our customers."

Arti is like having an AR studio that fits in your pocket. Unlike traditional AR solutions that require on-premise hardware and are designed to be used by dedicated AR design teams in a studio, Arti is a hardware-free, cloud-based AR platform that creates exciting new opportunities for broadcasters and content creators to tell engaging stories with AR and data on-location in the field, at live events, in the studio—everywhere.
